Hearty and rugged that needs time to open up, but once it does…big fruit! The nose is earthy and toasty with dark fruit notes. The palate is full of tobacco, black cherry, raspberry and chocolate flavors. The finish has a heaping load of fudge and oak to make for a worthy effort at Malbec. Drink now thru 2012.
