Don Miguel Gascon 2007 Malbec (Mendoza) $10
A beautiful inky purple color and the flavor to match; With a fat palate of blueberry liqueur, blackberry, black plum and fudge. This red is dense, but yet still balanced with tons of flavor. The oak is a hit on a long smooth finish, drink now thru 2012.

This Malbec is a killer red for $13 bucks; A beautiful palate of blackberry, licorice, pepper and new oak. With a great balance of fruit and wood wrapped around tight tannins. The mouth-feel is bold with a punch of oak on a long finish.

Power packed full of dark fruit; Black cherry, black plum, blackberry and creamy spice on a silky palate of flavor. This is a young Malbec with lot’s of power to it. The finish is long and smooth with silky tannins and a creamy send off.

Malbec, Mendoza, $10
Uncomplicated and easy to drink with a bit of an edge; Fresh blueberry jam, plum, fudge and some oak. This wine shows bulk around the edges but is leaner and more acidic in it’s center. Still, for 10 bucks you can’t beat this Malbec.

2006 Malbec, Perdriel, $18
Another outstanding Malbec from Punto Final; A nose of dark berry’s and spice. Rich and dense on the palate with blackcherry, raspberry and chocolate. The oak wraps around fudge undertones for a long full-mouth finish, drink now thru 2011.
